The proven and user-friendly NTC-6000 for Diff/Sum LVDTs

The NTC-6000-DS Quik-Cal ™ LVDT Signal Conditioner from NewTek Sensor Solutions serves AC LVDTs requiring ratiometric, or difference over sum measurement common in LVDTs used over large temperature ranges to reduce temperature sensitivity, or in aerospace applications.  The user can select whether the LVDT is measured via a ratiometric Diff/Sum measurement, or differential measurement.   Using the proven and reliable signal conditioning platform of the NTC-6000, the NTC-6000-DS offers even more options, compatibility, and many advanced features that make NewTek Sensor Solutions NTC-6000-DS module an extremely versatile smart LVDT signal conditioner.


Operating Power:               +9 to +30 V DC (+24 V nominal), 90 mA max. at 24 V DC;

Excitation Voltage:            3.0 Vrms (nominal);    1.5 Vrms (nominal selectable)

Excitation Frequencies:     2.5 kHz, 5 kHz, 7.5 kHz, 10 kHz (selectable)

Auto-Master Syncing:      Master output couples up to fifteen slave units; if master

fails, new master is automatically generated for fail-safe excitation.

Master can be selected by the user for a repeated master

LVDT AC Output Range:  50 mVrms to 5000 mVrms at LVDT full scale position

Analog DC Outputs:       0 – 10V, 0.5 – 4.5 V, ±5 V,

      4 -20 mA sourcing

Loop Resistance:           <1kΩ  max. with 24 V DC supply

Output Non-Linearity:      0.1% of Full Span Output (FSO)
